The nursery itself has a large outdoor area with large areas of grass turf and several play activities that provide challenges for all the age groups.
Alongside there are large barked areas to provide surfaces for all year long play access. With planters to grow our own flowers and vegetables as well as mud kitchens and sand and water play opportunities, the outdoor areas are beautifully appointed to give the best experiences possible to our children.

There are mark-making areas, number games, sand, cars, weaving activities, den-making resources and many more.

Children go out in all weathers and we have rain suits and wellingtons as well as suncream and sun hats.

The outside areas are set up everyday and planning ensures that there are activities to help children develop in all seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
